The entire CHRA / rotating assembly is high-speed balanced on a Vibration Sorting Rig at speeds past 200,000 RPM to isolate and eliminate harmonic disturbances and oil leaks. Perfect balancing is absolutely vital to prevent excessive wear, oil consumption, slower spool, and failure over time. OEM tolerances are known for being outstanding but OEM turbos are balanced within a certain threshold – pushing beyond this threshold as you start to significantly increase power can lead to a shorter turbo life. VSR balancing allows Pure Turbos to ensure quality at record-setting levels and beyond.
